🚨 Trade Show Joe Tip 🚨 5 Ways to Use Hospitality in Your Booth to Drive More Traffic Hospitality isn’t just about free food—it’s about creating memorable experiences that make people want to stop by and stay awhile. Here are 5 ways you can do it right: 1️⃣ Offer Local Flavor – Feature a snack, drink, or treat tied to the show’s host city. It creates instant conversation and memorability. 2️⃣ Coffee is King – A branded coffee bar or specialty espresso station will keep people coming back (and lingering while they sip). 3️⃣ Happy Hour Moments – Host a “sip & chat” with beer, wine, or a signature mocktail. Time it with a traffic lull (late afternoon) to re-energize your booth. 4️⃣ Interactive Food Experiences – Think gelato cart, smoothie blending bike, or gourmet popcorn station. Fun + food = foot traffic. 5️⃣ Comfort First – Don’t underestimate water, light snacks, and comfy seating with a cell phone charger. Give attendees a chance to recharge, and they’ll reward you with their time and attention. 👉 Pro tip: Always tie your hospitality back to your brand message. Don’t just feed people—connect the experience to your story. What’s the most memorable booth hospitality you’ve seen (or done)? #TradeShowJoe #TradeShows #EventMarketing #ExperientialMarketing

🤔 How do you build a truly unforgettable experiential marketing event? Start with good foundations, and put everything together piece by piece. ✅ Begin with a solid strategy ✅ Add creativity ✅ Ensure the event is designed for your attendees ✅ Finish with flawless execution In fact, as we showed at a recent IMEX event, creating an experiential marketing event that has real impact is like building a brick-based mini figure from scratch — it’s the pieces that make it whole… Piece #1️⃣ – Legs Every great experience needs a strong starting point; a strategy. Understand your audience, and identify your vision and what you want to achieve. Strategy is the foundation that keeps everything aligned and moving in the right direction. Piece #2️⃣ – Torso Purpose gives an event its heart, and creativity gives it shape. Design with intention, making sure every detail plays its part in the bigger story. Piece #3️⃣ – Head and Hair The most powerful experiences are shaped around people. Focus on personalization and connection, creating moments that make attendees feel seen, included, and inspired. 🧱 When all the pieces come together, every event becomes more than a moment; that’s what real impact looks like. What brick-based build have you created that has made you feel inspired?

  • Brands that use 3+ senses in their experiential marketing experiences are twice as likely to be remembered. 💥 🤯 So, how can you create multisensory brand experiences that make a real impact? 🤔 In a world optimized for attention, emotion has been lost. For Tom Slater and Ivan Brewster, part of our creative team at Impact XM, engaging in the five senses — sight, sound, taste, smell, and touch — helps to avoid this emotional “flatline” to create lasting value. 📉Only 28% of consumers say they feel emotionally connected with brands they interact with, despite being saturated with polished visuals and messaging. This is often because many brand experiences neglect the powerful impact of our senses, and missed senses are missed emotional connections. Here are five takeaways from Tom and Ivan to help you maximize sensory experience at your next experiential marketing or brand experience event: ✅Emotions are the goal. Senses are the path. Start every experience by asking what you want people to feel. Then use the senses to make that emotion tangible. ✅Sight and sound grab attention. The other senses create connections. Sight and sound are the most used senses at an experiential marketing event, but if you want to be remembered, use touch, smell and taste; these senses are most tied to memory and emotion. ✅Multisensory experiences drive results. As we mentioned earlier, brands that use 3+ senses are twice as likely to be remembered and can increase emotional engagement by up to 70%. ✅Design intentionally, not excessively. It’s not about doing more; it’s about doing what’s right for your brand and audience. Thoughtful layering wins over sensory overload. ✅Protype, test and refine. Start small. Try a scent zone. Add a tactile moment. Offer a flavor surprise. Test what resonates, then scale with purpose. How have you made use of the five senses at an experiential marketing or brand experience event?

How do you keep things real in a world increasingly shaped by AI?    As AI reshapes our world, authenticity is becoming the ultimate differentiator. 💡   At the CEMA-Corporate Event Marketing Association Summit in Austin, our very own Brittney Leeb Scott shared why being real—in relationships and in events—matters more than ever. Because when everything online feels artificial, genuine human connection is where the real magic happens. Yeehaw! 🤠 #BrandExperienceAgency #ExperientialMarketingAgency
