INFOTRAN, as a subconsultant, is providing Project Management and Construction Management support to the MTA-NYCT for the multi-phase rehabilitation and resiliency upgrades along the Rockaway Line 🚇🌊. Spanning Packages A, B, and D, this initiative strengthens vital transit infrastructure across the Howard Beach to Rockaway Park Yard corridor. Package A focuses on long-term flood mitigation for stations and bridges along Rockaway line, including the construction of a new signal tower and compressor facility at Beach 105th Street, debris shields, emergency generators, reinforcing structures, and safeguarding critical infrastructure to enhance system resilience. Package B involves structural repairs, superstructure replacement and rehabilitation of the Hammels Wye Viaduct, and nearly five miles of elevated railway. Package D involves South Channel Bridge replacing electrical and mechanical components, structural repairs, Control House renovations, fiber optic cabling for remote monitoring, and installation of an emergency generator. INFOTRAN is proud to play a role in ensuring the safety, resilience, and modernization of this critical transit link through quality oversight, inspections, and coordination. INFOTRAN, as a sub-consultant, is providing Construction Management and Inspection services for the Douglas Addition Roofing Replacement project at NYCHA’s Douglas Houses in Manhattan 🏙️🏗️. This major renovation includes rooftop structure improvements, parapet and brick repairs, hazmat abatement, and installing a cold fluid-applied reinforced roofing system. All while coordinating with utilities to safely remove telecom equipment and meet rigorous DOB and NYCHA standards. Our team is on-site ensuring contract compliance, performing quality inspections, managing controlled testing schedules, and coordinating signoffs and restoration.
