Our 2025 Halloween Candy & Décor Trends Report uncovers how Americans are celebrating spooky season, including: 🍬 Candy’s Biggest Day: On October 31, nearly 1 in 4 Instacart orders included candy, which is double the daily average compared to the rest of the year. 🥇 Nationwide Favorites: Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, M&M’s, and Kit Kat topped the list, with Sour Patch Kids and HARIBO Goldbears keeping fruity fans happy in the top ten. 🌽 The Candy Corn Divide: Mississippi can’t get enough (92% above the national average), while Hawaii avoids it (-55%). 🕷️ Earlier Spooky Season: Households started adding Halloween décor to carts by late August, nearly two weeks earlier than in past years.
