Inter-Faith Food Shuttle

Last Friday, October 10, Evening at the Farm marked the return of the Food Shuttle gala for the first time in five years. Guests were welcomed into a rustic, farm-chic atmosphere filled with community spirit and a celebration of the Food Shuttle’s impact. We were especially grateful to have our founders, Jill Staton Bullard and Maxine Solomon, in attendance for this special evening. We dined, learned, and celebrated together. This event would not have been possible without the incredible support of our volunteers, donors, and community partners. Last weekend, Inter-Faith Food Shuttle hosted two special events at our Farm, including the return of Food Shuttle Fest on Saturday, October 11. We had a blast welcoming so many community members for a day of family-friendly, fall-themed fun. Neighbors enjoyed activities like Food Shuttle bingo, a cake walk, pumpkin painting, farm tours, and more. Additionally, guests were treated to a sampling of fall flavors at our food truck, the Spinning Plate. It was wonderful to see so many families enjoying the festivities—thank you for making Food Shuttle Fest so special! Our Farm Stand has reopened for the Fall! The Farm Stand offers fresh, seasonal produce grown at the Food Shuttle Farm at no cost to our neighbors. Everyone is welcome to take home up to $15 worth of items per household per day. The Farm Stand is located at 2300 Dover Farm Road, Raleigh, NC, and is open from 9AM-3PM, Monday-Friday. Come out and enjoy farm-fresh produce this season!

We are so thankful to the community at Temple Beth Or and our co-founder, Maxine Solomon, for their immense support during the 34th Annual Yom Kippur Food Drive! Extra thanks to the Silber family for helping load over 4500 pounds of food on to the truck.
