IonQ had an incredible time at IQT Nordics 2025 in Gothenburg last week. Our SVP of Product and Applications, Ariel Braunstein, and Managing Director of the UK and Nordics, Lorenzo Roversi, delivered a keynote on commercializing quantum value, discussing the transformative potential of quantum computing in real-world applications. Beyond the conference, we hosted a dinner bringing together partners from Volvo Cars, Ericsson, AstraZeneca, FOI, GO MO Group, Sweden-India Business Council (SIBC), Setterwalls Advokatbyrå, Handelsbanken, Provobis Holding, CCRM Nordic, Business Sweden, QSIP – Quantum Sweden Innovation Platform, WACQT - Wallenberg Centre for Quantum Technology, Infinity QD, OnDosis, and BioVentureHub. Earlier in the week, we announced a new partnership with Einride. We were pleased to have Tomas Ohlson, founding engineer of Einride, join our dinner and share more about how our collaboration will support cutting-edge innovation in sustainable transportation and logistics across Northern Europe. Thank you to all our partners and guests for the inspiring conversations and connections throughout the event. Mena Issler Evgeny Epifanovsky Rima Alameddine

IonQ CEO Niccolo De Masi joined CNBC’s The Exchange today to discuss the intersection of quantum and the energy landscape. Niccolo emphasized how quantum will expand the entire compute market and enable us to tackle problems that are beyond the reach of classical computing across sectors like energy, cybersecurity, finance, material sciences, defense, and more. Speaking about the value for customers today, Niccolo stated, “Our commercial customers all recognize that in the next year, and the year following that, there are going to be tremendous advances in what quantum computing can bring to their problem-solving…We’re in the era of narrow commercial advantage. We’re moving to the era of broad quantum advantage.” Catch the interview: https://lnkd.in/g_Tgfhkx

At this year’s #Q2BTokyo, IonQ’s Margaret Arakawa and Masako Yamada spotlighted the powerful intersection of quantum computing and generative AI. During their session, Margaret and Masako discussed how IonQ’s quantum systems are uniquely positioned to address challenges posed by rare and complex datasets, opening doors to accelerate discovery in fields like drug development and materials science. They highlighted real-world use cases where classical AI falls short and how quantum-enhanced generative models could fill those gaps by unlocking patterns hidden in sparse data. Thanks to everyone who joined the session and stopped by our booth!
