📌 For anyone working in AI IP: a recent #PTAB decision deserves your attention. In my latest article for IPWatchdog, Inc, I break down Ex parte Desjardins – a decision where the PTAB, led by Director Squires, recognized technical improvements in how a machine learning model is trained and then held a claim directed to that training to be patent-eligible. Props to Director Squires and the new-look USPTO.
