🌟 Exciting news 🌟 Finnair has been shortlisted as a finalist for the IR Impact Awards – Europe 2025 in the following categories: 💚 Best ESG Reporting (small cap) ✨ Rising Star - Emilia Rannanniemi 👏 I am proud that our Sustainability Report, the first one prepared in accordance with the CSRD, has been acknowledged. A special shoutout to my colleague Essi Tähtinen, who was the master of ceremony behind the report and collaborated with dozens of colleagues at Finnair to make it happen. 🙏 On a personal note, I am humbled to be nominated as a Rising Star. Having worked within IR in three very different companies already, I feel I'm still early in my IR career and have much to learn. Cannot be but grateful for the support and opportunities so far and looking forward to many new experiences ahead. 🤓 A big thank you to IR Impact for this honor. Our journey to better serve the investor community continues. #IRImpactAwards #ESG #SustainabilityReporting #CSRD #InvestorRelations #TeamFinnair #ProudMoment

The IR Monitor is out! In this week’s newsletter: 😤An activist takes on an uncompromising CEO as the Swatch empire falters, reports Mercedes Ruehl at the Financial Times. As well as berating analysts and investors, Nick Hayek has occasionally published its annual report in an unfriendly tiny font 🤖A Bloomberg analysis of earnings call transcripts shows an astronomical surge in tariff mentions. Goldman Sachs estimates that 89% of S&P 500 companies cited tariffs — even more than those who cited AI, which had dominated calls since the start of last year. 🐠“Pisces will give investors more opportunities to buy stakes in growing companies. And private companies can tap into a broader range of investors”. What do you say to investors when your company is under attack? UK Retail giants like Marks and Spencer, Co-op and Harrods are learning the hard way, after being hit by a wave of high-profile security breaches. Cyberattacks demand more than a technical fix - they require a smart investor communication strategy. So, what information should you communicate to the market? When should you share it? And how do you control the narrative without compromising trust? In this piece: https://lnkd.in/eg8u--dP, Laurie Havelock unpacks how Marks and Spencer handled its response and the important lessons that IR teams can take away from it. And for the IR teams keen to be prepared for any potential breach, Garnet Roach's deep dive brings practical insights from an experienced IRO who’s handled a cyberattack head-on: https://lnkd.in/ejs6xXhr
