🏴☠️ Mission: Capture the Flag – Accomplished (Almost)! 🧠💻 Thrilled to share that our team participated in a high-stakes Capture The Flag (CTF) cybersecurity competition by JCOE Cyber Sentinels — and we snagged the 26th position out of 450 teams! 🎉 From late-night decoding sessions to that sweet “we found the flag!” moment, every challenge pushed our problem-solving, teamwork, and technical skills to the next level. Massive appreciation to my amazing teammates — your critical thinking, creativity, and persistence made this adventure unforgettable! 🙌 Each flag captured was a small victory, and finishing among the top teams feels like a big one. The VAPT Intern will be responsible for vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits. Day-to-day tasks include identifying and exploiting vulnerabilities, generating detailed reports, and assisting in the development of security measures. Ride! ⚡ Just wrapped up the “HACKERS GAMBIT” CTF organized by JCOE Cyber Sentinels, and wow — what an intense 48-hour marathon of pure problem-solving, late-night debugging, and digital adrenaline! 💻🔥 This incredible event featured 40 challenges across diverse domains: 🔐 Cryptography 🧬 Forensics 🌐 Web Exploitation 📱 Mobile Security 🕵️♂️ OSINT 💻 Networking 🖼️ Steganography ⚙️ Reverse Engineering …and a few wild miscellaneous ones that truly tested our creativity and endurance! 💥 Team Highlights — Cyber Soldiers & Fsociety 💥 👥 Sheshnarayan Markad, Shreeniwas Rathod , Vaibhav M., and myself — gave it everything we had! Hacker’s Gambit — OWASP National Level CTF ⚔ A 48-hour cybersecurity marathon filled with challenges, sleepless hours, and non-stop learning! From web exploitation and cryptography to forensics and reverse engineering, every challenge tested our focus and teamwork to the limit. Proud to have secured 28th place🏆 among 300+ teams, with a team score of 8220 / 9470, solving 37 out of 40 challenges. A huge shoutout to my amazing teammates — Mayuresh Chaubal and Abhishek Sharma — for their persistence, collaboration, and brilliant problem-solving throughout the event. It was truly a team effort! 🏅 Solved 38/40 challenges! Team ByteHunters proudly achieved an overall Rank 23 in India at the OWASP Hacker’s Gambit 2025 ,a national-level Capture the Flag competition organized by JCOE Cyber Sentinels (Jaihind College of Engineering, Kuran), in collaboration with CyberPeace Foundation and OWASP® Foundation. The 48-hour online qualifier (Round 1) ran from October 10–12, 2025, challenging teams to solve real-world cybersecurity problems across Web Exploitation, Cryptography, Reverse Engineering, Forensics, and more We successfully solved 38 out of 40 challenges — the same number as the top-ranked team — showcasing our strong collaboration, technical depth, and persistence during the event.
