Every community has unique strengths, challenges, and opportunities when building education-to-career pathways. At JFF’s Pathways to Prosperity network, we believe pathway systems must be designed with and for the communities they serve. In rural communities, this means: • Building on local history to create a shared vision that unites schools, employers, workforce leaders, and policymakers. • Aligning pathways with quality local jobs and regional strengths to expand economic opportunity. • Expanding access to learning and work through remote opportunities. How is your community shaping pathways that reflect its unique context? We want to learn about your approach and explore how Pathways to Prosperity can support your goals >> https://hubs.la/Q03N4qd00 #TransformWorkandLearning #ReimagineEducation #PathwaystoProsperity

Designing effective education-to-career pathways starts with understanding the labor market. Our guide, connected to our Pathways to Prosperity work, highlights how leaders can: · Define the critical elements of a pathway and adapt them to emerging regional labor market needs. · Communicate information in ways that resonate with young people at different stages of development, using tested examples from career pathway intermediaries. · Prepare youth for potential barriers they may encounter in certain fields while also showing them the benefits of high-quality career paths. Grounding pathway design in clear, accessible labor market data is essential to creating systems that work—for students and for regional economies.
