  • ⭐ Innovation Spotlight ⭐ It’s not just the data that matters—it's the story we tell. 📊➡️📖 For years, the Johnson County Health Department and Environment collected comprehensive data on community health. But a 61-page report, no matter how accurate, couldn't spark the action needed to address deep-seated health issues. The turning point? Realizing that to make a difference, they had to go beyond the numbers and find the human story within. 😊 The result is the innovative Health Happens Here dashboard. 💻 This interactive platform transforms complex local health assessment data into relatable narratives, compelling visuals and equity-focused stories. We found profound disparities, including a 12-year life expectancy gap between communities just five miles apart! By turning data into dialogue, JCDHE is empowering residents and leaders to understand and feel the reality of health inequities. 📈 Explore the dashboard, find your community's story, and learn how to act ➡️ HealthHappensHereJoCo.com
