With Joint Commission streamlining its standards for hospitals and critical access hospitals as part of our Accreditation 360 transformation, healthcare organizations have asked us how the survey process will be affected. We want to assure healthcare organizations that there are no major changes to the survey process itself, and the streamlining of the standards did not introduce any new expectations. If your organization meets requirements now, you should expect to meet requirements when the new standards go into effect Jan. 1, 2026.
