The short-term rental market in Italy is valued at over €41.7 billion (source: Il Sole 24 Ore) and continues to grow, although it risks slowing down due to local regulations. We discussed this yesterday at the first edition of the Stati Generali degli Affitti Brevi 2025, organized by Associazione Italiana Gestori Affitti Brevi - AIGAB: an opportunity to exchange views on numbers, regulations, and opportunities together with other industry players. On stage, our President and AIGAB board member William Maggio shared the story of Joivy: from an entrepreneurial idea to a European scale-up, and now also expanding into the short-term rental sector.
