Kane on the move! Over 60 schools across Kane County took part in Walk, Bike, & Roll to School Day today, like our friends from Geneva 304. The day encourages families and community members to engage in and promote a healthy, active lifestyles for our students.

The annual Illinois School Safety Conference brings hundreds of educators, first responders, community partners, and national experts together to discuss an essential topic: creating the safest possible learning environments. Our office was proud to co-sponsor this event on Wednesday, as Regional Superintendent John K. Jonak kicked off the day. Phil Morris, our Director of Operations & Technology, also took part in a safety panel to talk through the roles of various agencies in school crisis prevention and how they collaborate to find solutions.
