We're still smiling from our first ever Fundraising Event! Over 155 people joined us to raise close to $70,000 to support the individuals and families served by our 35+ programs. And our phenomenal KHDS team. Many hours, many preparations, many lists, and many tasks led to the culmination of an event that was full of fun, fundraising, and true storytelling! 🚨🚒 BIG hearts behind the helmets! We're so grateful for our friends at Kenosha Firefighters C.A.R.E. for their incredible donation to KHDS. As their selected charity partner for their annual golf outing -- we received $15,000 to benefit the work we do in the community. What is more special is that we have an incredible partnership with our firefighters. We often are at calls together when families are in crisis. We are stronger together. Your support will help us meet the needs of individuals and families supported by the work being done at KHDS! 100+ Women Who Care-Kenosha is a network of women committed to raising dollars for Kenosha community based organizations. Once a quarter, they gather for an hour and raise up to $10,000! Participants nominate their favorite charity/charities...three are selected to speak about their work....and then the participants vote on a lucky recipient!
