15 years. 15 million diapers in 15 days. 🎉 We are deeply grateful to our founding sponsor, Huggies (Kimberly-Clark), for celebrating NDBN's 15th anniversary with an extraordinary milestone: 15 million diapers being delivered to NDBN-member diaper banks across the country in just 15 days! This historic donation is part of an expanded partnership where Huggies will donate a total of 75 million diapers to the network over 3 years. Since 2011, Huggies and Kimberly-Clark have stood beside NDBN, united by a shared mission to end diaper need. Together, we've distributed more than 300 million diapers and wipes, helping the nearly 1 in 2 U.S. families struggling to afford these essentials. “From day one, Huggies, and its parent company Kimberly-Clark, have shared our goal of ensuring that babies have the diapers they require to be healthy and happy,” said Joanne Samuel Goldblum, NDBN CEO and founder. This donation thoughtfully includes allocations to smaller community-based diaper banks that serve high-need communities but often face logistical challenges in accepting major shipments—ensuring this donation will help support the programs that serve the families who need it most. “Some of my bosses would say, ‘You’re the age of my daughter,’ and different things like that. ‘You’re the first woman that’s had this role at this plant or in this division.’” Kimberly-Clark’s Tamera Fenske is one of around 76 Fortune 500 female executives who have “chief supply chain officer” on their resumes. However, the executive tells Fortune it’s an unfortunate fact she “doesn’t think about” too often—if anything, it motivates her further. “Anytime someone tells me I can’t do something, it makes me want to work that much harder to prove them wrong,” she said.
