¡El proyecto Gualcamayo ha obtenido recientemente su Declaración de Impacto Ambiental (DIA), marcando un hito importante para este proyecto de oro en Jáchal, San Juan!   Nuestro equipo de Knight Piésold Argentina preparó la séptima actualización del Informe de Impacto Ambiental (AIIA), integrando información de las actualizaciones quinta y sexta, así como del período 2023-2024. Con esta aprobación, Gualcamayo renueva su licencia ambiental y recupera su capacidad operativa, un paso decisivo hacia la continuidad de uno de los yacimientos de oro más emblemáticos de San Juan.   Estamos increíblemente orgullosos de haber apoyado este logro, destacando la excelencia técnica de nuestro equipo y las sólidas alianzas que hemos construido con nuestro cliente y las autoridades regulatorias. We had a prominent presence at the 11th International Conference on Tailings Management in Santiago, with 15 specialists from our offices in Argentina and Chile in attendance, discussing the latest developments and best practices in tailings management with mining professionals from South America and around the world. Central to our participation, we delivered four technical presentations: ➡️ Cristian Bertolo: Challenges of Tailings Transport Pumping Systems in Negative Static Head Applications ➡️ Cristian Leonardo Giner: Hydraulic Evaluation of Tailings Transport Systems in Mountainous Terrain: Density Wave Analysis ➡️ Jorge León Illanes: Lessons Learned in the Interpretation of SCPT on a Tailings Facility Using the CSSM Framework ➡️ Gonzalo Laciar: The Role of Rheology Tests in the Design and Operation of Long-Distance Slurry Transport Systems These studies were developed through collaborative efforts across offices in Argentina, Chile, and the USA, addressing challenges associated with tailings transport and management in complex operational environments.
