Still buzzing from the first edition of AI Engineer Paris at STATION F! 🚀 The main stage brought the hype, but the discovery rooms and workshops were where the magic happened: deep dives, candid lessons, and sharp takes on agentic applications. Exactly the content I was looking for to cement what we’re building at Mirakl right now: Agentic Commerce and GenAI-augmented marketplace operations! 🤖 Sharing a few highlights from my best findings: - Stop wasting GPU flops on cold starts: streaming model weights to GPUs is now available with run:ai and vllm (>=0.6.6) + natively supported on GCS. Way to crush cold starts and costs! Big thanks to Peter Schuurman (Google) and Ekin Karabulut (NVIDIA) for the practical takeaways 🙌 - Rewriting all of Spotify’s code base, all the time: the tale of an agentic migrator pushing 1000+ PRs to keep codebases healthy without burning engineers out. Thank you Aleksandar Mitic and Jo Kelly-Fenton (Spotify) for sharing the real-world guardrails! 💫 - From local AI hacks to production-ready agentic apps: an overview of the new Docker, Inc GenAI stack with the MCP catalog, followed by an excellent workshop on cagent, Docker's new AI agent runtime. Loved the pragmatic, local-first approach! Who wouldn't with their own personal pirate developer agent? 🏴☠️ 🦜 Huge shoutout to the organizers Koyeb for a fantastic first edition.
