Following eight days of flight demonstrations at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, United States Marine Corps evaluators selected First Person View (FPV) platforms from Auterion, ModalAI, Neros Technologies, and Nokturnal AI – as well as one component from Kraken Kinetics – to move forward in the FPV tactical kinetic effects portion of Project G.I. These selections will now undergo verification for National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) compliance and a cyber security review, with the goal of doubling the amount of FPV’s available for purchase and use in the United States Department of War. These new capabilities will provide warfighters the ability to acquire these technologies multiple years in advance of current DoW program of record timeframes. https://lnkd.in/gR4nq7Aa 🔹 Kraken Kinetics TERMINUS in Action 🔹 Proud to see our TERMINUS modular mission payload system featured in Task & Purpose coverage of the Army Rangers’ live-fire demonstration to the Secretary of War. The lead image shows TERMINUS configured with an anti-personnel, forward-firing tungsten fragmentation warhead—one of several interchangeable payloads designed to give small units scalable, mission-tailored options in the field. TERMINUS is built on four core principles: 1️⃣ Flexible System Architecture – Seamlessly integrates with a wide variety of FPV platforms. 2️⃣ Modularity – Swappable payloads (fragmentation, EFP, thermite, and more) in seconds, enabling operators to pair the right effector with the mission. 3️⃣ Maximum Lethality – Warheads and selectable fuzing engineered to perform at the limits of physics within the payload mass budget. 4️⃣ Low Cost – Designed for economical, high-rate production to maximize strategic magazine depth for the U.S. and allies. This demonstration is one example of how U.S. forces are already leveraging our work to show decision makers what’s possible. We remain committed to delivering the next generation of adaptable, high-performance munitions to provide America’s warfighters DEFINITIVE LETHALITY. #DefenseInnovation #FPV #NationalSecurity #KrakenKinetics #Neros #SECWAR

Thanks for sharing, Geoff.
Hey. You. This is a big deal. 3d LAR just organically developed an FPV strike team working directly across agencies, adjacent units, and commercial vendors. They didn’t wait to be told. They didn’t wait for a solution. They pushed forward because as we all know – no one is coming to save you. As Marines, they found a way, broke through barriers, and got it done. And now, the rest of the Fleet Marine Forces have a playbook on how to do the same. This week, the Connecting File published Part I of 3d LARs journey to procure, develop, and employ an FPV-strike capability using the Neros Technologies #Archer. If you’re a Marine take note. If you’re industry, do the same. Read here: https://lnkd.in/gPuyRMjy A special thank you to LtCol John Dick and his unit for sharing Wolfpack's phenomenal work with us. 🎯 Marines Conduct Live-Fire Test of Lethal Drone Munitions at Camp Lejeune On July 3, U.S. Marines with Advanced Infantry Training Battalion, School of Infantry – East, conducted a groundbreaking live-fire combined arms exercise—demonstrating the Mjölnir lethal payload system delivered by small unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). 🔴 What made this historic? This was the first time a program-of-record UAS—the SkyRaider—dropped a live munition on Camp Lejeune, paired with mortar fire and a Javelin missile strike in a simulated company-level assault. 🛩️ The Systems: - SkyRaider – A Marine Corps quadcopter used for ISR, now testing munition delivery. - Mjölnir – A soda-can-sized device carrying 500g of explosives, detonating via LiDAR either in midair or on impact. - Neros Archer – A first-person-view drone used for direct strike with an anti-personnel charge. This test showcases the Marine Corps’ evolving approach to lethality—integrating small drones with traditional fire support—and reflects ongoing experimentation to modernize the infantry force. 📍 Conducted by the only MOS-producing Small UAS School in the Corps, this event builds on lessons from MCDAT (Marine Corps Drone Attack Team) and sets the stage for future integration across the Fleet Marine Force. 📰 Read full story here: https://lnkd.in/eE7MYFPe 🎥 [Video from the event] #Marines #USMC #Innovation #Drones #MilitaryTechnology #UAS #SkyRaider #Mjolnir #AITB #CampLejeune #ModernWarfare #SmallUAS #ForceDesign2030
