We are honored to announce that Rik Blyth, President of La Fonda Hospitality Group, has been named a finalist for the Hotelier of the Year award by Historic Hotels of America. Since joining La Fonda in 2017, Rik has led initiatives that strengthen our legacy, including the acquisition of Piñon Court by La Fonda, while championing excellence in hospitality and historic preservation. This nomination is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team in maintaining and enhancing La Fonda on the Plaza’s storied tradition. This list celebrates member hotels across the United States that feature exceptional, museum-quality art collections—ranging from classical paintings and antique furniture to contemporary sculpture, mixed media, and immersive installations. Each property offers guests a unique opportunity to experience the intersection of art, history, and hospitality. Some of our members, like the Palmer House®, A Hilton Hotel and the JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District, were founded by passionate art collectors.
