Situated in McAllen, TX, the Boeye Reservoir repurposes a 70-acre decommissioned drinking water facility into an activated mixed-use destination centered around a 5.6-acre swimmable basin. Students at University of North Carolina at Charlotte have a new way to spectate and celebrate! The 49th Acre Tailgate Park and Pavilion brings versatility and school spirit together within a three-acre site. Through a collaborative, two-day design charrette, student leaders and campus partners helped develop a shared vision for the park's design.
