♻️ At Lime, our work doesn't stop when the ride ends—we’re reimagining how the full lifecycle of micromobility vehicles can be more sustainable. 🤝 We’re so proud to partner with Cyclic Materials to pilot e-motor recycling and help recover rare earth elements from our retired vehicles within our Canadian and US fleets. 🇨🇦 We’re excited to launch this work in Canada, and with this collaboration being a first in North America—we hope to set a new standard for circularity in hardware innovation. 🔗 Learn more about our partnership here: https://lnkd.in/gM5waNcT #RideGreen #Sustainability #Micromobility #CircularEconomy #HardwareRecycling
Cyclic Materials is thrilled to announce a pioneering partnership with global micromobility leader Lime to recycle electric motors from their Canadian and U.S. fleets 🛵 This agreement marks the first at-scale initiative in North America to recycle #RareEarthMagnets from e-scooters and e-bikes, a major milestone for the #CircularEconomy. These critical materials will be processed at our new commercial facility in Mesa, AZ, and our Kingston, ON site, helping valuable resources return into the supply chain. With less than 1% of #RareEarths recycled globally, this collaboration it’s a step toward a cleaner, more resilient future for urban mobility. This Military Appreciation Month, we're honored to spotlight two of our own: John Phillips and Jeff Cody — veterans whose journeys from military service brought them to Lime. From maintaining fighter jets to leading teams under pressure, their experiences in uniform now help power our mission to build a greener, more connected world. Their stories are a powerful reminder that the skills forged through service don’t fade — they evolve. We’re proud to work alongside John, Jeff, and all veterans who bring their leadership, discipline, and purpose to Lime every day. 📲 Read their stories: https://lnkd.in/g3h7qZpi 🫡To every veteran making the transition--your next mission might just be here: https://lnkd.in/gE-eE-ib #VeteransAtLime #LifeAtLime #Micromobility #Sustainability #VeteranVoices\ #MilitaryAppreciationMonth #LifeAtLime #VeteransAtLime #LimeProud #Sustainability

Apologies for the delay… we don’t just post about sustainability during Earth Month. At Lime, every day is Earth Day. While we love that April gets people thinking about the planet, our commitment to building cleaner, more equitable transportation systems runs 365 days a year. Here’s a glimpse at what Earth Month looked like for us (spoiler: this is what most months look like at Lime): 💚Joined 3 Healthy Kids Day events at NYC YMCAs to promote sustainability and active transportation for all ages 🚊 Dropped promo codes to help riders close the “last mile” from transit stations in Atlanta 🛴Hosted a 1st ride academy for new riders in Albuquerque on Earth Day 🪖Handed out free helmets + rides at Medical University of South Carolina’s Earth Day event in Charleston 📋Activated Parking Wardens in Querétaro to reward great parking behavior 🏆Celebrated 3 million rides in Edmonton + started working on our expansion into downtown Vancouver ♻️Gave out free Earth Day rides in Paris (yes, our seed paper is compostable!) 🔋Announced our partnership with Redwood Materials as our exclusive battery recycling partner for all Lime cities throughout United States, Germany and The Netherlands Thanks to our riders, cities, and community partners for helping us build a better transportation future — not just in April, but all year long. #EarthMonth #Micromobility #Sustainability #UrbanMobility #ClimateAction #SustainableTransportation

🌿 Bringing a touch of green to Milan Design Week 2025 🌍 We teamed up with Raffles Milano to unveil Designing Urban Sustainability — a limited-edition collection of Lime vehicles reimagined by the next generation of designers for Milan Design Week. From April 7–13, in the heart of the vibrant Porta Venezia Design District, this collaboration brings to life a the relationship between nature and urban mobility — highlighting the beauty of sustainable transportation. Aligned with this year’s theme, Connected Worlds, the project celebrates participatory and generative design. Together, Lime and Raffles Milano are pushing the boundaries of what responsible, sustainable mobility can look like when powered by creativity and purpose. At the core of this initiative is the 72 Hours Project, an intensive educational experience where 13 Raffles Milano students took on the challenge of transforming Lime vehicles into iconic urban design pieces.
