🇲🇽☀️After years of joking about taking the Little Spoon team to Mexico… we finally made it happen! 🏝️ What a privilege it was to bring 100 Spooners together IRL — some who have worked together for years and forged incredible friendships without ever meeting in person. Seeing everyone outside their little Zoom squares on the beach in Riviera Maya really was a pinch me moment. 🪩 From The Spooner Cantina to Spooners & Sharks, Spoonvivor, and our sunset beach party finale, Noche de Fuego 🔥 — we pulled out all the stops for this one, and it’s a trip we’ll never forget. 🙏🏼 Huge thank you to everyone who helped bring this vision to life. From our incredible facilitators, event + travel planners, deck creators, merch mules (someone had to bring our limited edition Spooners y Sol limited edition merch to Mexico 😉), murder mystery dinner visionaries and more everyone put their best foot forward and made it such a meaningful and memorable experience for every member of our team. 🤗 At Little Spoon, our customers are our center of gravity—and we mean it. 💌 Last week, our team gathered (IRL and virtually!) to handwrite and decorate nearly 100 Mother’s Day cards for some of the amazing moms in our community. From stickers and stamps to heartfelt notes, this arts-and-crafts moment was all about showing love and appreciation the old-fashioned way. Even Gus, our Chief Pup Officer, lent a paw. 🐾 ❣️ While our Care team writes notes to customers all year long, this time we got the whole Spooner squad involved. Just one more way we aim to turn everyday interactions into something a little more personal. 💐 To the moms out there: You’re doing great. We see you. Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at Little Spoon!

Just got back from the Little Spoon offsite and no influencer brand trip could compete.   Amazing swag? ✅ The experiences? ✅ ✅ The vibes? ✅ ✅ ✅   Coming together with an amazing group of smart, passionate spooners and leaving with the reminder that we’re building something truly special for parents + kids (who deserve nothing but the best)! I don’t usually post on LinkedIn, but our company retreat in Mexico last week was too incredible not to share. 100 Spooners flew in from across the country—and the world—for an unforgettable few days. From pitching real business ideas to our very own Sharks (with one getting actual funding!), to competing in Spoonvivor, to simply hanging out and bonding as a team—it was the kind of experience that reminds you why you do what you do. I'm beyond grateful to be part of a company like Little Spoon, and to have founders like Ben Lewis and Angela Vranich who truly invest in their people and understand the power of team building. Most of all, I’m proud to be part of a mission that’s all about making parents’ lives easier and kids healthier. Now more than ever, we're committed to disrupting an outdated category that's long overdue for innovation and higher standards. As we like to say, Let 'Er Rip!

After years of joking that we’d all head to Mexico after hitting record after record, last week…it finally happened. Little Spoon, my home for the last 6.5 years, brought the entire company to the Riviera Maya. As a remote employee, I rarely get to see coworkers outside of the tiny Zoom squares—so getting to meet teammates in real life, some of whom I’ve worked with for years, was truly special. Every detail of the trip was thoughtfully planned—from Spooners & Sharks (shoutout to my winning team 👏) and Spoonvivor, to a murder mystery dinner and countless moments of genuine connection. Huge shoutout to Ben Lewis, Angela Vranich, and the many others who made this trip unforgettable. I’ve been lucky to witness many “eras” of Little Spoon over the years, and I can confidently say: the best is yet to come. We’re just getting started. 🚀

Each of these custom, dinosaur-shaped Smoothies celebrates a character from BarneysWorld™ and are USDA organic certified, 0g of added sugar per serving, 2g of fiber and of course, no artificial flavors, sweeteners or synthetic colors. Last week, the Little Spoon team took Mexico! We danced our hearts out, got competitive via Spoonvivor, solved a murder mystery, got thrown into the shark tank to present big ideas, and so. much. more. Company culture has always been important to me, but this trip made me realize just how important SUPERB company culture is - and Little Spoon has it. I came back completely free from an ongoing anxiety/stress funk. I'm now feeling re-energized (not just professionally, but also very much personally), so much closer to the whole team (which brings me joy as a remote Spooner), and SO inspired to continue working alongside my fellow, incredibly bright teammates toward our goal to take this thing to the moon 🚀 Ben Lewis & Angela Vranich, thank you for investing in us - no one can do it like you. Genuinely. I'm so beyond grateful to be a part of something so special: the Spooniverse 🩵

How it started ➡️ how its going 💥 Almost 7 years ago, I took the leap to join a company just barely 1 year in the making: Little Spoon. I had the incredible opportunity to help build a business from the beginning and to define a brand that I knew (we all knew), even then, would and could change lives —and an entire industry. ☝ My first week in our windowless WeWork office we shared desks, celebrated a record week in sales (this still happens nearly every week!) and I got to work building out a brand strategy that continues to underpin us today. 💭 My mom drove into the city with a childhood toboggan for our Holiday pop up event. Ben Lewis carried the sled up and Daniel Barber scooched his desk over to make room for it. 🛷 We were having the time of our lives. And we have every day since. 🚀 It is a privilege and an experience unlike any other to scale a business, deepen a brand, develop a marketing plan from scratch, build out a team, innovate products like crazy (for a consumer who so desperately needs change), foster a culture, stew in the growing pains and celebrate every success. You learn unmatched self-awareness, you build (invisible) muscles that could take on a body builder and you experience friendship and connection with your partners that are impenetrable. 💪 Together you realize that dreams can become reality — we are here today because of it. There are no words for the satisfaction, gratitude and overwhelming pride I felt this week joining 100 fellow Little Spooners in Mexico for a work retreat that will go unrivaled - queen Angela Vranich poured all her love into this event and it showed in every detail. 🫶 Ben Lewis gave a talk that will give me chills for a lifetime. What we are doing is huge and so deeply gratifying. My heart nearly exploded seeing a room full of hardworking, inspired and dedicated coworkers and friends. 🙏 I can't believe how far we have come, and I can't wait for the world to see what happens next. 🪐 I am just so damn lucky.
