Thank you to L.A. Care Health Plan and Augie Haydel, Chair of our Healthcare Council, for leading a productive conversation!
L.A. Care Health Plan’s General Counsel, Augie Haydel, helped lead an important healthcare roundtable hosted by the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce with former U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Xavier Becerra. The conversation brought together healthcare leaders to discuss how we can protect access to affordable, high-quality care for all—especially the most vulnerable. Topics included the future of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), the healthcare workforce shortage, and how collaboration and innovation can improve outcomes for our members and communities across Los Angeles County. As Chair of the Chamber’s Health Care Council, Haydel continues to elevate L.A. Care’s mission to advance health equity and access for all Angelenos.
