Last night, we had the honor of recognizing the excellence of 18 extraordinary nursing and other healthcare professionals at the 10th Annual Nightingale Awards. This ceremony, inspired by the legendary Florence Nightingale, highlights the remarkable achievements of our bedside nurses, nurse leaders, and dedicated team members who continuously go above and beyond. Across our 34th Annual Employee Achievement Awards, we brought the entire community together, first at the Dinner Banquet on August 5 and again at the Luncheon on September 12, to celebrate teammates reaching 5 through 45 years of service and to honor standout contributors who raise the bar for all of us. Stanford Medicine Children’s Health is pleased to announce Keith Morse, MD, MBA, as the new Chief Medical Informatics Officer. Dr. Morse has been a part of the Stanford Medicine community for over seven years, contributing significantly as a pediatric hospitalist and the program director for the Clinical Informatics Fellowship. In his new role as the Chief Medical Informatics Officer, he will lead efforts to integrate artificial intelligence and informatics to enhance patient care and efficiency, continuing his impactful work in incorporating machine learning into everyday medical practice and leading Stanford Medicine’s participation in the PEDSnet research network. The Stanford Medicine community is excited for his leadership in driving innovative health care solutions. On #CleanAirDay, Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford was recognized by City of Palo Alto with an $80,000 rebate check to support its growing EV charging infrastructure, adding 10 new chargers in the West Garage. With existing stations at the Main Garage, 730 Welch Rd, and 750 Welch Rd, this expansion highlights the Hospital’s ongoing commitment to public health and environmental sustainability.
