At La-Z-Boy Incorporated, we remain committed to caring for our people and supporting the whole person—mind and body—as we recognize World Mental Health Day. We were pleased to recently introduce our new mental health benefit Lyra Health, which is making care more accessible. Eligible team members and household family members can access confidential mental health coaching or counseling sessions at no cost, in addition to self-care resources like meditations, videos, courses and articles. Beyond this, many of our teams have received mental health first aid certification, and following training sessions this year, are already using what they learned to help others. Because when we listen, understand and support one another, we bring compassion to life. #LZB #LZBInc #LZBLife #WorldMentalHealthDay #MentalHealthMatters

Today, on World Mental Health Day, I’m pausing to reflect on the importance of mental health. There is still work to be done to be open about mental health challenges – and it is so important to seek assistance and provide assistance. At Walmart, we have been focused on the well-being of our associates; physical, financial and mental well-being. We provide no-cost counseling sessions to all associates, associates have access to mindfulness apps, peer support, mental health training and most important we are working to create a culture that encourages real conversations. We want every associate to know: we are here to support you – in all of your well-being needs, and if you are needing support for your mental health, please ask for help.   I’m grateful for the teams working every day to make mental health support more accessible for everyone. On this World Mental Health Day, I encourage each of us to be open about mental health and the importance it plays in overall well-being. #TeamWalmart #WorldMentalHealthDay

Artificial intelligence is changing the way mental health care is accessed and delivered in the workplace. How can benefits leaders know what’s hype, what's real, and what's next? The Economist will continue the discussion with Jenny Gonsalves and a panel of experts at the Mental Health Innovation Summit in NYC on November 4. Register to convene with Lyra and the benefits change-makers and executives shaping workforce mental health: https://bit.ly/4ooJSXx. 📍📆

I spoke with Economist Impact about how technology and culture are shaping the future of mental health at work, and how lasting change depends on leaders who model care and build cultures that allow it to take root. That theme reflects how we think about innovation Lyra Health. We’ve always believed in technology with a human touch because both components are necessary for mental health care that actually works. https://lnkd.in/dD6WJ35z

  • Global workforces need mental health care that supports members no matter where they are. When mental health support isn't culturally informed, it leaves people feeling isolated, leading to disconnected care and low engagement. Lyra is changing the narrative with a human-centered approach: 🫂 Culturally responsive care ensures support is matched to individual preferences and respects local norms, systems, and stigma 🌍 Our global platform provides seamless access and support across 200+ countries and territories ⏱️ Employees and their families get connected to high-quality care, often matching with a provider in one day 🤝 Simplified management with a single platform that gives benefits leaders the clarity and consistency needed to support their teams worldwide. • Today, we are announcing an expansion of Lyra AI that supports members when life happens between sessions. People are increasingly turning to general-purpose artificial intelligence (AI) assistants for mental health support—models trained to predict words, not recognize warning signs or keep people safe. Simply put, AI outside of clinical care can’t deliver safe, effective mental health support. That’s why we need clinical-grade AI, built for how people actually seek help today, with clinicians and safeguards at the center. Lyra AI is supercharging the Lyra Care model with 24/7 in-the-moment support fully integrated with human care and crisis support, and guided by our same clinical standards and commitment to quality. The future of mental health care isn’t about choosing between humans and AI. It’s about combining the best of both. https://bit.ly/3KNqbKq #LyraAI

  • #WorldMentalHealthDay is an annual reminder to care for ourselves and each other. Here at Lyra, we celebrated alongside our partners at a virtual yoga session and made time for other fun activities like bingo and coloring! Taking the time to move, breathe, and connect with one another was the perfect way to celebrate the day. With over 25,000 clinicians serving more than 20 million members, we're sending a heartfelt thank you to all of our Lyrians who support our mission to transform access to life-changing mental health care every day! 💚🌎
