MLS Announces New Leadership Appointments We’re excited to announce two key leadership appointments that will further accelerate growth across our league. Charles Altchek has been named EVP, Club Performance & League Growth, building on more than a decade of MLS experience driving business initiatives and overseeing the League’s full player development pathway (MLS NEXT Pro, MLS NEXT, and MLS GO). In his new role, Charles will lead the Club Performance group, partnering with club owners and executives to further drive team business performance, while also overseeing strategic transactions and evaluating potential markets should the League pursue expansion in the future. Ali Curtis has been appointed President of MLS NEXT Pro & EVP, Sporting Development. Ali will succeed Charles in leading all business and sporting operations for MLS NEXT Pro, while continuing to advance player development, innovation, and community impact initiatives across our ecosystem.
