As my merchandising internship at MARLEYLILLY comes to a close, I'm incredibly grateful for the hands-on experience and professional growth I've gained working for a leading brand in the e-commerce and personalization space. During my time here, I was responsible for creating and updating product descriptions, SEO meta titles, and SEO descriptions for weekly launches - using detailed keyword research to optimize for search and engagement. I also managed Greek and Collegiate merchandise, handling the licensing process, creating product proofs, uploading them for approval, and building the product in the backend system with photoshopped imagery assets. Beyond merchandising, I had the opportunity to shadow the Graphics Department and gain hands-on experience with dye sublimation, vinyl, heat press, and engraving. I also learned from the Creative Team's photography workflow, helping select and edit weekly product images. Additional projects I got to work on included organizing website category pages, developing monthly trend reports based on global trends, tracking product performance, analyzing product survey results, and creating Instagram graphics to support brand marketing. I'm so thankful for the chance to grow my skills in e-commerce, SEO, and visual merchandising- and a special thank you to Holly J. and Lizz Pingry for your guidance, support, and leadership throughout this internship. I'm excited to carry the skills and experience I've gained into future opportunities!

This week, Lizz Pingry and I had the incredible opportunity to visit Google HQ with the team at Attentive to learn more about Rich Communication Services (RCS) and wow, what an experience! Connecting with amazing marketers from brands I know and love and seeing Google’s campus in person was definitely a pinch-me moment. If you’re not familiar with RCS, it’s essentially the next generation of text message marketing, bringing rich media, branding, and interactive elements to text messages. Huge thanks to Attentive for being such an incredible partner and for creating opportunities like this to help brands like MARLEYLILLY stay ahead in the competitive e-commerce space. Personalization is our bread and butter, and we can’t wait to bring this next-level messaging experience to our customers! 💬✨

Had a great time last night with the team at the Spring Soieree hosted by GirlUp GVL and MARLEYLILLY. Kudos to everyone who made the event so special. I had a great day with my Leadership Greer Class yesterday! We visited the Inland Port, Greenville County Goverment Offices, and MARLEYLILLY . We heard from City and County Council Members, Administrators, the Greer City Mayor and local entrepreneurs and businesses to discuss the importance of a strong local government with innovative strategies to posiyively impact local economic development.
