Last week at #ClimateWeekNYC, McCormick hosted Flavoring Tomorrow: 25 Years of Flavor Forecast - an immersive, multi-course experience held in partnership with REGEN HOUSE and the Future Food Institute, bringing together leaders from across the industry to explore how flavor can drive sustainability. Each course was inspired by Flavor Forecast trends from previous years, paired with stories of the sustainable practices that brought each dish to life. This past week, McCormick hosted its 6th Annual Technical Innovation Summit at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley. The three-day event brought together McCormick’s internal teams and external collaborators under the same roof to explore the Now, Near and Next of innovation. Day one kicked off with insights from industry experts Robert Long and Carlos Barroso followed by a panel discussion featuring Jane Black, Peter Bodenheimer, and Mayur “Moy” Aras. The energy carried forward into days 2 and 3 with an innovation expo showcasing new cutting-edge technologies. As our Chief Science Officer Anju Rao put it: "This Summit reflects McCormick’s deep commitment to the Power of People. It’s an opportunity to step away from our daily routines, creating the space and time to immerse oneself in the latest and greatest advancements in food and flavor.” A big thanks to the organizers, guest speakers and the attendees who continue to push the boundaries of innovation at McCormick!
