Josane Julião is using her degree from Hamburger University every day. Her journey began at 16 as restaurant crew in a local #SãoPaulo restaurant where she worked her way up to Marketing Coordinator. ⏩ 2011, she joined Hamburger University, where she held roles as Academic Coordinator and University Manager. A decade later, she became the Dean of Hamburger University #Brazil and currently leads 100K+ students across Latin America. Josane says, “Ambition and the desire to grow are important, but they must be matched with preparation, learning, teamwork, and openness to feedback.” Josane is honored how far she’s come but even prouder to potentially inspire other women along their journey.

In 1999, Luiz Claudio began his McDonald’s #franchisee journey growing his business to include 11 restaurants across #Brazil. Fast forward to 2025: his daughter Isabella Fernandes has held multiple roles within the business, including unit manager and general operations. One of the best parts of traveling is trying local, limited-edition McDonald’s menu items, and #Korea is a must-visit destination. ✈️ Through its Taste of Korea initiative, McDonald’s Korea is incorporating quality, Korean-sourced ingredients to deliver new flavors while helping to revitalize farms. From the Iksan Sweet Potato Mozzarella Burger 🍠 to the Changnyeong Garlic Burger 🧄, the Taste of Korea initiative is having a big impact on customers and local #farmers. Since launching in 2021, the program has led to: ⬆️ Increases in farmers’ actual income and reductions in agricultural waste disposal from McDonald’s Korea purchasing more ingredients (over 1,000 tons worth of ingredients, to be exact!) ⬆️ Increases in local brand value, with consumers eager to try new menu items with fresh, local ingredients Ready for take-off?
