  • McKenzie Health System is pleased to welcome Dr. Lindsey D. Rieck, DO, to McKenzie General Surgery, expanding access to high-quality surgical care in the community. Dr. Rieck brings extensive experience in general surgery, trauma, and critical care, with a strong background in acute care and surgical critical care. Before joining McKenzie Health System, Dr. Rieck served as a General Surgeon at Lake Huron Medical Center in Port Huron, Michigan, and as a Trauma & Acute Care Surgeon at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Michigan. She previously completed her General Surgery Residency through McLaren Oakland & Macomb in Pontiac and Mount Clemens, Michigan; her Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at Detroit Medical Center/Wayne State University; and her Trauma Fellowship at Hurley Medical Center. Dr. Rieck earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Rocky Vista University in Parker, Colorado. She also holds a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the University of South Dakota and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of South Dakota, earning a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She is an active member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Society of Breast Surgeons, American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, Society of American Gastrointestinal & Endoscopic Surgeons, Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma, and the Society of Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Rieck joins Dr. Zarrish Khan, who became part of McKenzie General Surgery in May 2024, further strengthening the surgical expertise available to the community.   • 🎉 Welcome to the McKenzie Team, Khristine Kirkbride, DPT, OMPT! 🎉 McKenzie Rehabilitation is thrilled to welcome Physical Therapist Khristine Kirkbride to the team. A proud Sandusky High School graduate, Khristine brings specialized expertise in treating complex musculoskeletal conditions, including jaw pain and TMJ dysfunction, along with advanced hands-on techniques that enhance recovery and pain management. Her passion for physical therapy started right here at McKenzie during a high school shadowing project—and now, she’s returning to serve the very community that inspired her journey. “Khristine’s wealth of knowledge and dedication to patient-centered care will be a tremendous asset to McKenzie and the community we serve,” shared Jenny Long, DPT, Director of Rehabilitation Services. Khristine is excited to help patients achieve their movement and health goals while staying connected to her hometown roots.
