We are excited to announce that McLaren Lapeer Region, The Child Advocacy Center of Lapeer County, and Jim Riehl's Friendly of Lapeer are teaming up for an important community event on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 9am to 11am. A free car seat safety check will be held in the service department of Jim Riehl's Friendly, located at 1515 S. Lapeer Rd, Lapeer. Our certified child car seat technicians will be on hand to ensure your car seat is properly installed or assist you with any installation needs. While appointments are recommended, drive-in's are also welcome. To schedule an appointment, please call us at (810) 667-5556. Let’s make sure our little ones are safe on the road! 💕A clinical breast examination (CBE) is an important component of breast cancer screening. According to experts, women in their 20s and 30s should have a CBE as a part of a regular health check every three years. Beginning at age 40, women should have a CBE every year. Join us for a FREE clinical breast cancer screening on October 23rd or October 28th from 4pm to 6pm, hosted by Karmanos Cancer Institute at McLaren Lapeer Region.
