AMCP formulary dossiers provide a comprehensive collection of US clinical and economic evidence for new and existing medical drugs, tests, or devices. They are used to help managed care organizations and health care decision-makers make formulary and medical policy considerations regarding coverage or reimbursement. Given the amount and complexity of information in these documents, they are understandably time consuming to create and maintain. Med Communications understands the importance of communicating your product’s value effectively in order to facilitate formulary additions and optimize reimbursement. We have partnered with several clients and successfully developed valuable and strategic product dossiers across various therapeutic areas. We often emphasize our team's education and expertise when describing our services, but in the context of dossier writing, these qualities truly shine. Consider this feedback we received about one of our writers: “I wanted to provide you with feedback on a Med Communications medical writer. Since she’s started, I’ve worked with her on standard response documents, medical information requests, and medical affairs materials. When she started, I was immediately impressed with the logic she applied to standard response content and medical information responses. She was a natural and I partly attributed that to clinical experience. As I worked with her on the update of the AMCP dossier, it was clear that she also had a strategic lens and was able to discern critical inclusions as well as practical solutions to lead and complete the update with as little impact to the team (time) as possible. She seems to naturally filter out unnecessary information, which is a skill that I have seen just about all new people struggle with, but it seems to come more naturally to her. More recently I have worked with her on a couple writing assets and I continue to be impressed. Without my prompting, she picked up on errors and improvements that even other seasoned writers would not pick up on. She not only has a keen attention to detail, but she also applies literal thinking to ensure proper interpretation of claims and statements. I’ve worked with and directly mentored many writers over the 20 years I’ve been here, and she is one of the finest. She jumps right into new things and isn’t afraid to try things on her own, speak up, disagree, and offer suggestions. I love working with her!” –Top 10 Pharma Company, Scientific Communications, Long-Term Client of Over 15 Years A project as complex and critical as a dossier is too important to risk entrusting to anyone but an expert. At a critical moment—navigating regulatory pressure, preparing for marketing authorization, and dealing with a legacy system that was failing us—they stepped in with clarity, structure, and deep pharmacovigilance expertise. Their team didn’t just deliver a new pharmacovigilance system, they delivered a transformation. They uncovered and resolved complex data issues. Their leadership in configuring and validating our pharmacovigilance system, cleaning up safety data, and reconciling records in a very short period of time was exceptional. Thanks to their contribution we entered our marketing authorization process with complete confidence. Their support with key regulatory documents, including the PSMF and RMP, was instrumental in helping us meet deadlines and regulatory expectations. They’ve proven to be more than a vendor—they’re a trusted partner. Their responsiveness, technical skill, and commitment to quality were evident at every stage of the project. We look forward to continuing this partnership as we move into the post-marketing phase.” –Biotech Company, Pharmacovigilance, Product Launch to Post-Marketing More client feedback is available on our Testimonials page: https://lnkd.in/eWWi3Pbm. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🌸👚🩷
In the United States, breast cancer is the second most common cancer; around 13% of women will develop breast cancer at some point in their lives. Nearly 317,000 new cases of invasive breast cancer and more than 59,000 new cases of non-invasive breast cancer are projected to be diagnosed in American women in 2025. This year alone, more than 42,000 American women are expected to lose their lives to breast cancer. However, roughly 2/3 of breast cancers are diagnosed at the localized stage, and when caught this early, the relative 5-year survival rate is 99%. The National Breast Cancer Foundation has some great resources to learn more about breast cancer detection and treatment: https://lnkd.in/etpVpWV. Today is World Pharmacists Day, a day organized by WHO partner International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) to recognize and celebrate the crucial role that pharmacists play in building healthier communities everywhere. The theme this year is "Think Health, Think Pharmacist.” Pharmacists help meet worldwide critical health needs, improving costs, coverage, and care for all. They provide easily accessible health care support in a range of areas, from medications to vaccines to health literacy and outreach, particularly for underserved communities. The expertise provided by pharmacists ensures that patients receive the highest level of care, and efforts to replace them with less qualified personnel can lead to costly errors. Med Communications honors pharmacists on our team and around the world who use their knowledge and expertise to improve and safeguard patient health.
