What a fantastic day at the 2025 Media Financial Management Association Conference!   It was an honor to join KPMG US' Frank Albarella, Jr. and Friday Abernethy with Monumental Sports & Entertainment for our fireside chat, “Reimagining Regional Sports Networks: Insights and Strategies for Future Success.” We explored how Monumental Sports & Entertainment Sports Network is navigating the evolving regional sports network landscape through digital transformation, strategic partnerships, and a bold, diversified content strategy.   The MFM community continues to bring together some of the most forward-thinking voices in media and finance. This week, I had the opportunity to attend the Media Financial Management Association's Annual Conference alongside Julie Fossi. It was an enriching experience being part of the premier gathering for financial professionals in the media and entertainment industry. The agenda was packed with insightful discussions, particularly focusing on AI and GenAI, shedding light on their increasing influence in the media landscape. During the conference, I actively participated in a dynamic panel discussion titled "How Non-traditional Data Sources and GenAI are Changing Credit & AR Management." The session was expertly moderated by Yesinne Alvarez from Creditsafe and included distinguished panelists Mary McKenna, VP Global Head of Customer Finance Operations at NBCUniversal, and Rob Sherman, President of Vengroff Williams Inc. Together, we delved into the capabilities and constraints of GenAI, while also exploring how predictive analytics and non-traditional data sources are revolutionizing Credit & AR management practices. It was truly enlightening to exchange ideas and insights with industry experts, discussing the evolving landscape of financial management in the media sector. I had a lot of fun with this group and hope to do it again sometime in the future!

What a week! We had an awesome time at the World Finance Forum conference in Dallas, meeting with Finance leaders, swapping ideas, and digging into what it really means to be AI-ready (spoiler: it starts with your data). Our CEO & co-founder Leah Weiss took the stage and shared a super practical, no-fluff talk on how finance teams can really start using AI—not someday, but now. Huge thanks to everyone who came by to chat, asked great questions, and shared your own stories. We left Dallas energized and excited for what’s ahead.
