Please join us in welcoming Eddie Enea to our Merrimack Valley YMCA team! Eddie joins the Y with a passion for community and culture. A strong advocate for equity and inclusion, he brings years of involvement in neighboring non-profit organizational causes that center on diversity and a voice for all. Most recently from Enterprise Bank in Lowell, MA., Eddie was an active member of employee resource groups centered on expanding the multi-cultural fabric of the community around him and bringing it in to the workplace. He was also the active chair of Pride CORPS, a group for employees offering support and resources for members and allies of the LGBTQ+ community.

Launching the new school year together as a community, students, faculty, and staff spend three unforgettable days at Camp Lawrence on the breathtaking Lake Winnipesaukee. This beloved Esperanza tradition is all about stepping out of our comfort zones, cheering each other on, and building lasting bonds. Whether it's tackling a challenging ropes course, conquering a fear of heights on the zip line, or simply laughing around the campfire, Camp Lawrence is where relationships grow and lifelong memories are made. A heartfelt thank you to the YMCA, the Essex County Community Foundation, and our longtime friend and supporter, Victor J. Mill III, for making this transformative experience possible and helping our students start the school year off with positivity and camaraderie.
