MEZeroE and its partners will bring profound changes to the building industry by providing turn-key startup and upscaling services for modeling, testing, and monitoring near-zero energy buildings enabler envelope technology solutions while setting up a comprehensive knowledge management environment and customized training.   • How can we measure the real performance of innovative building envelope systems? A seminar hosted by Politecnico di Milano and University of Brescia will show designers and construction professionals how research can support better energy efficiency, resilience, and overall performance of building envelopes.   • Last week, MEZeroE had the pleasure of joining the InnoRenew CoE International Conference 2025: “From lab to life: innovative solutions for a healthier and greener built environment.” 🌍🏗️ For two inspiring days (16–17 September), researchers, innovators, and industry experts came together to discuss how renewable materials can shape healthier, more sustainable buildings. The sessions covered key topics, including: 🔹 Advanced Manufacturing 🔹 Information Processing 🔹 Creativity & Society 🔹 Buildings 🔹 Health 🔹 Materials It was an intense program, but also an important reminder of why collaboration and innovation are essential if we want to achieve zero-energy, sustainable buildings. At MEZeroE, we are committed to fostering this ecosystem by connecting research, industry, and digital tools to accelerate the transition toward a greener built environment.

    🌳 Successful InnoRenew CoE International Conference 2025 (IRIC2025) International experts gathered in Izola at #IRIC2025 to exchange knowledge and experience on the use of renewable materials in creating healthy and sustainable buildings. The keynote addresses were given by Rebecca Williams and Sumea Klokic. In addition to sessions about information processing, creativity and society, buildings, health and materials, participants had a chance to take part in three workshops: ❇️Rebecca Williams workshop “How to Tell the Story Behind Your Science”, ❇️MEZeroE project workshop “Open Innovation Test Bed for Building Envelope Products: How Can Open Innovation Lead to Better Building Envelopes?”, ❇️WoodStock project workshop “Living Lab Workshop: Co-development of the European Wood Construction Observatory (EWCO)”.
