We are thrilled to announce the recipients of the 2025 Excellence in Energy-Efficient Design Awards! 🔵Pottawattamie County Roads Operation Center (Pottawattamie County, Iowa, HGM Associates Inc. and Engineering Technologies, Inc.) - saved 62% in annual energy usage 🔵Southeast Polk Middle School (Southeast Polk Community School District, FRK Architects + Engineers and MODUS Engineering) - saved 62% in annual energy usage Through our Commercial New Construction program, these facilities were offered free energy modeling and design assistance, plus incentives for qualifying energy-efficient installations. Fiber optic cable suppliers! 🌐 We are currently seeking cost estimates for the large-scale purchase and delivery of fiber optic cable to support our Middle-Mile Fiber Broadband Project. Meet Charmayne, our first female line mechanic! 💪 ⚡She began her career in customer service and later trained to become a line mechanic. Though the path wasn’t always easy, with determination and support from her co-workers, Charmayne broke barriers to become the first woman to hold this role at MidAmerican!
