Anybody home? MnDOT staff recently checked Twin Cities-area stormwater ponds, like this one off I-694, for rare turtles during routine maintenance. Seeds & Phoenix Day 2025 brought together MnDOT Seeds and Phoenix student workers, their supervisors, and program alumni for a day of learning, connection, and celebration. The event highlighted the impact our student workers make every day—bringing fresh perspectives, skills, and energy to MnDOT. Attendees heard from Commissioner Nancy Daubenberger, keynote speaker Dr. Jermaine Davis, and MnDOT staff on topics ranging from professional growth to sustainability and public health. The day wrapped up with recognition of this year’s outstanding students, supervisors and offices whose contributions went above and beyond.
