This week, Jared provided a one on one training session right here locally in Ohio! The trainee- Trevor, is an RN with the proper transcripts for high complexity testing and he made amazing progress! Throughout the entirety of the training, he showed strong skills and dedication in everything from CLIA compliance to tissue processing, grossing, and cover-slipping. It is always inspiring to see professionals step into a new role and excel so quickly! This was a wonderful training session and we are very pleased with Trevor and his results. September was another successful and booked month for us at Mohs Plus! We provided some training sessions, filled plenty of coverage days, and our team serviced cities in 5 different states this month! Of those states, we frequented Wisconsin the most and also had the opportunity to return to the great state of Alaska to continue work. We are so thankful to work with such amazing clinics that welcome us into their space, and continue to call on us to return for more days with them. Last week, Jared and Jenevieve returned to Mirimar Beach, FL to provide training to two wonderful Mohs techs- Robin and Nikki! Within 3 days of on-site training, and zero lab experience, they showed determination in the lab with the improvement of their slides each day. They also focused on accuracy and efficiency while they worked on cutting down on turnaround time for the specimens. These two Mohs techs did a fantastic job earning their certificate, and it was a great training! We are thankful for the opportunity to return this year and provide another hands-on training session with this clinic.
