At ACT Expo 2025, it was clear: the future of clean transportation is multi-tech, purpose-built, and rapidly evolving. 🔍 Key Trends We Spotted Hydrogen is taking the lead in long-haul and heavy-duty, with big moves from Hyundai and others. Swappable batteries are gaining traction for fleet flexibility. Aura’s autonomous truck demo—already syncing with Volvo—felt like a turning point. 🎤 Panel Insights Volvo CTO Lars Stenqvist shared a bold vision: net-zero emissions by 2040, supported by a dual-technology strategy—BEVs and hydrogen. Notably, Volvo isn’t walking away from the combustion engine. Instead, they’re exploring low-carbon fuels like HVO and biogas, and even hydrogen combustion, as viable bridges. 💡 These layered approaches—multi-path decarbonization, adaptable platforms, and scalable innovation—mirror the kinds of challenges Motivo helps tackle every day.
