  • As we get closer to being in Portland, we want to thank all the people from the city and region who have stepped up in amazing ways to make sure the conference reflects the local story. The Local Host Committee plans the Welcome Reception. They plan every detail of Pre-conference Events and Mobile Workshops. They coordinate volunteers, work to bring in local sponsors and give a big assist on marketing and outreach. City of Portland Bureau of Transportation, Oregon Metro, and TriMet co-chair the Local Host Committee. To everyone who has worked on the Local Host Committee, including Rail~Volution founders and individuals from across the region – Thank You!
