  • We love welcoming visitors of all ages to our farm, like the kindergarteners from Manchester Elementary School who recently got a behind-the-scenes tour with Kipster Manager Clayton Tomlinson. 🥚 The students got an up-close look at where our hens live, sleep, and lay their eggs. They learned all about what chickens eat, including how our carefully controlled feed incorporates upcycled leftovers from bakeries and other food producers. It was a fun, hands-on way to see how eggs go from coop to carton, including a peek into our packaging process. 🥖 Our visitor center offers this kind of transparent view into animal welfare and sustainable farming to anyone who stops by. From thoughtful animal care to a commitment to reducing food waste, Kipster is rethinking what responsible, circular farming can look like. 🐔 🕙 Visitor center is open daily from 10 AM until 4 PM. 👷♂️🌽 A group of our feed mill team members recently toured the historic Stockdale Mill in Roann, Indiana—a working water-powered flour mill dating back to 1857! North Manchester Feed Mill Manager Michael Monroe was surprised at how much it had in common with our own mill operations: “At first glance, the old mill looked so different. But once inside, I realized the process isn’t all that different—elevators, hammermills, roller mills, and most importantly, teamwork. Past, present, or future, it takes a dedicated team to keep things running.” 💡 The Strauss family built their first water-powered mill in 1875 on the Eel River in North Manchester. 🚧 Today, we’re continuing that tradition with our first concrete mill under construction! Corn receiving capacity: 6,000 → 15,000 bushels/hour Feed output: 72 → 90 tons/hour The future of feed milling is bright, and we’re proud to continue building on our family’s history of innovation while staying dedicated to caring for our hens, feeding families, and supporting our communities. 🥚 Visit Wabash County

Regina is currently pursuing a B.S. in Animal Sciences with a concentration in Biosciences at Purdue University. She has spent much of her internship at Kipster in North Manchester, Indiana, while also supporting various other projects. Thank you both for making a meaningful impact this summer 🌟

  • ✨We're proud to recognize T.J. Klein, our Texas General Manager, who was awarded his Presidential Plaque at this year’s Texas Poultry Federation Annual Convention in San Antonio, Texas. Executive Vice-President JC Essler presented the award in honor of TJ’s dedicated service during the first year of his two-year term as President of the Federation. 🥚TJ leads the way at both Feather Crest and Pineywoods Farms, and we couldn’t be prouder to see his leadership recognized across the industry. Congratulations, TJ!
