Amazing conversations today with students at the UNC Wilmington College of Health and Human Services and University of North Carolina Wilmington Watson College of Education. The students shared about their majors, work based learning, employment and student leadership! We met student rock stars! We also learned about the Career Center, scholarships, military enrollment and persistence and partnerships with K-12 schools districts, business, funders and community colleges. So thankful for this opportunity to learn about fantastic programs! #2Millionby2030

Wonderful day for education and industry in Durham, as Durham Public Schools celebrated the opening of the Early College for Health Sciences in RTP. While the early college has been around for some time, this unique approach in partnership with Durham Technical Community College and Duke University Health System will ensure clear pathways to health care careers for students who complete the program. An incredibly timely approach in a high need field.

What an amazing opportunity provided by East Carolina University and spearheaded by Rich Klindworth, Jr., EdD! This is a great example of providing access to information and the possibility of dreaming BIG about college and career success. Also recognizing that regional school districts rallied their students and provided bus transportation. This is not easy work so kudos to all those involved! #2Millionby2030
