As certain utilities needed more of their transmission and distribution work performed while energized, two of our subsidiaries developed live line training programs. An important aspect of proper job planning is knowing which tools and tool accessories you may need and how to make sure they’re ready to use. 🛠️ It’s one thing to choose the correct tool, but it’s also crucial to make sure the tool is in good working condition. Before using any tool, carefully look it over and complete any necessary checklists as part of the inspection. Whether you use a certain tool every day or just occasionally, never become complacent about its condition. Using the right tool in the right condition for the job ensures it gets done right—and done safely.
