TidalHealth Nanticoke recently celebrated Jarrod Buzalewski, DO, for performing his 1,000th da Vinci robotic surgery, a major milestone for both Dr. Buzalewski and the hospital’s robotic surgery program. Since Dr. Buzalewski joined TidalHealth in September 2021, his contributions have included assisting with the training of operating room staff, providing community education on the benefits of robotic general and bariatric surgery, and serving as chair of the Robotic Surgery Committee at TidalHealth Nanticoke. In addition, he serves as TidalHealth Nanticoke site director for the TidalHealth General Surgery Residency, where he mentors and trains residents in all aspects of general surgery, including robotic techniques. Please join us in congratulating Dr. Buzalewski and the Surgical Services team on reaching this remarkable milestone.
