Last week on behalf of Mytra I gave a talk at Foxglove's Actuate conference on evolving complex systems. If 99% of robotics companies fail, how can we improve our odds? I shared three things to improve our chances: 1. Designing for modularity 2. Evolving from the simplest working system (Gall's Law) 3. Obsess over iteration velocity A big unlock is to push as much complexity of your system into software and then leverage everything we've learned from scaling SaaS: continuous deployment, percentage based rollouts, and feature flagging.
