Calling all agency staff! This week’s #TrainingTuesday explores how our brains process information and the cognitive shortcuts that contribute to implicit and cognitive bias, leading to biased systems. Participants will learn how these biases influence decision-making and service delivery, particularly in housing and community development. The course also examines types of privilege and provides tools to identify and reduce bias within organizational systems. https://lnkd.in/e72zWiSY

Thank you, LDG Development, LLC, for your extraordinary partnership! Your 10-year investment in the NAHRO–LDG Scholars Program has supported 24 remarkable young affordable housing residents by easing the burden of college tuition and funding internships. The NAHRO LDG scholars have also joined a welcoming community that will help them thrive as future leaders. We were especially grateful to welcome LDG’s Ramona Vasta and Brett Budd at our National Conference in Phoenix, where they represented LDG beautifully and inspired our scholars and attendees alike. Your incredible generosity and investment in our youth help further NAHRO’s vision of thriving communities with affordable homes for all. We’re deeply grateful — and excited for what’s ahead together. #NAHRO #LDGDevelopment #AffordableHousing #Scholarship #Leadership #CommunityDevelopment
