National Cancer Audit Collaborating Centre (NATCAN) reposted this
The treatment you get, how quickly you get it and how well you are supported is subject to far too much variation across England and Wales. National Cancer Audit Collaborating Centre (NATCAN) are doing an exceptionally thorough job of demonstrating that - it's our role as a clinical community to do something about it. Macmillan Cancer Support want to see an end to unwarranted treatment variation and I'm pleased to be joining this conversation next week. In the meantime I encourage you to look at the data dashboards on the NATCAN website - start with a disease you know, then input a hospital you know and start seeing some of the differences.
