Neighborhood Health Center is part of the Building Care With You movement — a national effort to raise awareness of community health centers. Did you know health centers began in 1965 as part of President Lyndon Johnson’s War on Poverty? Because of the success of health centers, they've become the backbone of our nation’s largest primary care network. Health centers serve nearly 34 million people annually — 1 in 10 Americans. Health centers are under funded though, representing only 1% of total annual healthcare spending in the U.S. Thank you for supporting YOUR Neighborhood Health Center! #valuechcs

One of the ways we try to make healthcare more convenient for you is having pharmacies under the same roof as your doctor's office, with great service including free delivery and easy refills. Pharmacy technicians play an important role in ensuring your prescriptions are filled efficiently and accurately. In today's post, one of our technicians, Zadia Lambert, shares what she loves about her job. #IAmNeighborhood #WeAreNeighborhood

Welcome to Neighborhood, Andrew Lawson, DDS! Dr. Lawson is a graduate of the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. As part of his training, he spent time working in rural Kentucky and Senegal in West Africa -- both areas where many people do not have regular access to dental care. He credits these experiences with expanding his perspectives and shaping how he practices dental care with patients today. #WelcomeToNeighborhood #IAmNeighborhood

You can now schedule next-day appointments for physicals, sick visits, and new patient dental visits. Scheduling for these appointments opens at 3:00 p.m. on the business day prior to the appointment. This replaces our old process of calling at 8:30 a.m. for same-day appointments. We made this change based on patient feedback as we strive to serve you better! #WelcomeToNeighborhood
