It's the end of an era here at Netflix with Big Mouth coming to a close. 8 seasons, 81 episodes, and countless bubble baths later, we're gonna miss you Maury! Good thing we can always visit Bridgeton Middle School when we need a hormonal pick-me-up.

In May, Netflix showed up at WAVES, the Government of India’s flagship summit spotlighting the future of media and entertainment. Our pavilion—“Stories Behind the Streams”—was an immersive showcase of India’s storytellers, behind-the-scenes talent, and the policies that help creative industries thrive. From dubbing booths to VFX demos, it offered a hands-on look at how Indian stories travel the world. Co-CEO Ted Sarandos joined us in Mumbai to reaffirm Netflix’s deep and growing commitment to India. He also shared that from 2021-2024, our investments in India have generated over $2B USD in economic impact—filming across 100+ cities in 23 states, and engaging 25,000+ local cast and crew. 👏 Congratulations to PM Modi, Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, and the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting for great summit.

Today, at Netflix’s Upfront presentation we announced new series, movies, live events and updates to our ads plan. Netflix’s Ads Plan now reaches over 94 million global monthly active users —  with more 18–34-year-olds than any other U.S. broadcast or cable network. Today, we traveled over the Jersey state line and broke ground on our new state-of-the-art production facility, Netflix Studios Fort Monmouth. With a chance to make it good somehow, we’re excited to breathe new life into this historic property. While New Jersey is the birthplace of the American motion picture industry, we’re not just trying to recapture a little of the glory days. Netflix Studios Fort Monmouth will also create jobs in construction and production and support local businesses. With the right scripts and the best crews, the site’s busting open, and these 292 acres can take us anywhere. So bring on your wrecking ball! A big thank you to New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, New Jersey First Lady Tammy Murphy, and all the local elected officials who joined us this morning. And a special shoutout to Monmouth County native (and Springsteen on Broadway star) Bruce Springsteen for the post assist (or inspo).
