The American Association for State and Local History (AASLH) proudly announced today that the Neville Public Museum is the recipient of an Award of Excellence for “Telling Our Stories: LGBTQ+ Voices of Northeast Wisconsin.” The AASLH Leadership in History Awards, now in its 80th year, is the most prestigious recognition for achievement in the preservation and interpretation of state and local history. This year, AASLH confers 54 national awards honoring people, projects, exhibits, and publications. The winners represent the best in the field and provide leadership for the future of state and local history. The Neville Museum was the only award recipient from Wisconsin. This national recognition follows awards for 2018’s “Estamos Aquí: Celebrating Latino Identity in Northeast Wisconsin” and 2019’s “Delay of Game: Experiences of African American Football Players in Titletown”. We are so proud of the Neville team, the community committee, and everone who supported this important project!

The Neville Public Museum Foundation could not be more excited to announce that we have been selected as one of the 50 nonprofits to participate in this year's Give Big Green Bay! Now in its eighth year positively impacting our community, Give Big Green Bay is a celebration of generosity that kicks off at noon on Wednesday, February 19, and ends at noon Thursday, February 20. During that precious 24 hours we all have the opportunity to dig deep, reach far, and give BIG to our favorite organizations that make Green Bay a rich and wonderful place to live. One day. BIG impact! We need YOU to help make our campaign a BIG success!
